Just Buy The Travel Insurance!!

Over the past week, I have had clients calling, worried about the flight cancellations of American Airlines or the bankruptcy filings of Frontier Airlines. I have done my best to reassure some of my clients because they fly in 10+ days, but the ones who fly with Frontier Airlines my advise remains the same, “Always Buy the Travel Insurance!”.
Whether it is airlines or an unexpected illness or injury or death that may happen; you will never regret buying the insurance when something unexpected happens. For relatively few dollars it can save you many. If you need to cancel your trip(for one of the covered happenings) or be transported to a hospital your pocketbook will be happy you did.
Now, before you say, “Nothing ever happens and it is a waste of money”. It really dose! My two best friends planned a dream diving trip to Bonaire last January. Not one hour after they arrived, one of them fell on a slick floor and tore his left quad. leg muscle. Needless to say, having the insurance helped recoup the costs that they otherwise would not have…
No one wants bad things to happen, but they do. I do not know about you, but if something happens on or before my vacations I want to get the money back. That said, I won’t be at a total loss and can maybe just re-take my trip and have real fun.
